His paintings did more than capture the spirit of cinema; they defined how generations felt about the movies we loved. For me, each poster was a portal—a luminous thread that connected my own imagination to the stories on screen. Drew’s art lit a path that led me straight into a life of creativity; I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without the example he set.

I’ve been privileged to witness the kindness he extended to people, myself included, the time he spent listening, the care and craftsmanship he poured into every art piece, the humility that shone through even amid great worldwide acclaim.
